Premiering Wednesday, February 29, the "British Invasion" edition of the CW reality series will feature 7 models from past U.K. cycles going up against 7 fresh U.S. faces.

BURBANK, CA — A fierce new edition of "America's Next Top Model" returns with Cycle 18 and its first-ever "British Invasion," featuring former contestants from "Britain's Next Top Model" and an all-new crop of American model hopefuls competing for the grand prize. "America's Next Top Model," hosted by Tyra Banks, premieres Wednesday, February 29 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) on The CW.

 This cycle will feature a variety of seasoned women from across the pond that will do whatever it takes to make it as a model in America. They will compete against not only each other but a group of aspiring American models. Emotions run high, the women are divided and the competition is intense as they vie for the grand prize.

 Lending their expertise as guest judges this cycle are actress and singer Kelly Osbourne, reality star Kris Jenner, pop star Estelle, Marchesa fashion designer Georgina Chapman, television host Cat Deeley, actor and musician Nicolas Tse, former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, model Beverly Johnson, fashion designer Barney Cheng and fashion photographer Jez Smith.

 The British favorites and American women battle it out to earn the prestigious title of "America's Next Top Model." They will compete for a career-launching prize package: a modeling contract with LA/NY Models, a chance to be a guest correspondent on the hit newsmagazine "Extra," a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and the cover and spread in Beauty In Vogue, the face of "America's Next Top Model" perfume Dream Come True, a single to be released with CBS and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics.

Beauty is a double-edged sword. It seems to be a commonly accepted notion in the world today that an inverse proportion between brains and beauty exists. Basically the prettier someone is, the less intelligent they are expected to be.

 And no one has it worse than models. True or not, we all assume that models are stupid. In fact, we want them to be stupid. We need them to be stupid because life would be too unfair if the beautiful people were smarter  than us.

 But is this assumption really true? Do smart models exist, or does a life devoted to getting by on one's looks make a person stupid?

 Now VH1 will attempt to answer this burning question by casting a wide net in search of "America's Most Smartest Model".

 Fourteen models, (7 men, 7 women) all of whom think they could be the smartest in America, will live together as they compete to determine which of them has what it takes to be dubbed "America's Most Smartest Model"—The perfect combination of Beauty and Brains.

 In every episode of "America's Most Smartest Model," the 'himbos' and 'bimbos' will face challenges that put both their overall intelligence and their beauty to the test. The individual or team that wins will be safe, the loser(s) will face elimination.
