Turkey’s own Furkan Palai was elected Best Model of the World 2011 competing at home, in a gala event which happened in Istambul, Turkey. Belgium placed 2nd, and Canada placed 3rd.
Silvia Catalina Llanes of Colombia was elected in the women’s category. Both signed a modeling contract with the contest’s organizing firm.
