Greece’s Iliana Papageorgiou is the SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE 2011

Ten years after Evelina Papantoniou (Miss Universe Greece and Miss Universe’s first runner-up in 2001) was named the Sexiest Woman Alive by Global Beauties, another Greek goddess tops the hottest list on the globe and becomes her country second woman to take this prize: Iliana Papageorgious, Miss Universe Greece 2011.

An international model from the city of Patras, home of the world-famous Patras Carnival, Iliana was handpicked to represent Greece in Miss Universe just a few days before the competition started in São Paulo. Her killing catwalk and striking smile, along with a huge dose of sex appeal, made her one of the favorites for the crown among pageant followers everywhere. However, the preliminary judges and Trump’s crew did not include her among the semi-finalists, which ended up being one of the biggest upsets in international pageantry last year.

Never mind. Papageorgious career as an international model kept on gaining strength. She has now graced the covers of magazines such as BEAUTÉ, and hit the most disputed runways in Europe, the Middle East and North America.

The Greek beauty edged out 2nd place Carola Duran, Miss Tourism Queen Dominican Republic (who came very close behind her!), and 3rd place Zhanna Zhumaliyeva, Miss World Kazakhstan (meet the 7 finalists ; meet the 25 semi-finalists).

Hopefully it is just the beginning of a road of much success and glory for  Iliana Papageorgious, the SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE!
